the right one would be more than willing to wait however long it takes

it's not always rainbows and butterflies
it's compromise
that moves us along

sometimes, watery eyes and twisted throat,

i need to take a breath and take a step back

and remind myself that nothing is ever flawless

and it's the flaws that make it all very real

and some things, i am very glad they are
